Sunderland have confirmed the signing of Strasbourg midfielder Habib Diarra for a club-record fee in a deal worth a reported £30million. The club

have sold Jobe Bellingham to Borussia Dortmund and are looking to replace him in midfield, with the
21-year-old having scored four goals and provided five assists in 33 appearances in all competitions. His form has earned him a move to the Premier League.
The Black Cats have agreed an initial fee of £27m for the player, with a further £3m in add-ons. “
