Former Manchester City chief scout Mick Brown believes that Manchester United veteran defender Harry Maguire is likely to leave the club at the end of the season, having been consistently on the bench.

Brown said: “Any club that wants a strong, experienced leader or is looking for a central defender, I think Harry Maguire is a very interesting person. He is a real threat from set-pieces, both defensively and offensively, and he is good on the ball.”

Harry Maguire is attracting attention from a number of Premier League clubs amid uncertainty over his contract at Man United.

Mick Brown, who spent over a decade at United during their most successful period and remains very well-connected there, exclusively told โปรโมชั่น ufabet Insider that multiple clubs are monitoring his situation and could make a move if he becomes available.

“He has been England’s first-choice centre-back for many years, so he has a wealth of experience at the highest level. I spoke about him all the time when he was a target for West Ham. They made a bid of £20m that United looked at, but it was quickly rejected.”

“West Ham are still looking for a new centre-back at the moment, so I think the interest will remain and if Man United decide to let him go at the end of the season, there are a number of clubs waiting to sign him.”

This season, the 31-year-old has only had the opportunity to play 11 games for Manchester United in all competitions.
